BMW & European repair — South Orange County
If you drive a BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, Porsche — or something in that family — the dealer is one option. It’s rarely the only sane one.
South OC has a lot of these cars in driveways from Mission Viejo hills down toward Lake Forest. Same cars, same heat, same stop-and-go on the 5 and 405. Cooling systems get cranky. Oil leaks that “aren’t urgent yet” become urgent. A service light that won’t clear with a generic scan tool needs someone who actually works on the platform.
We’re looking for independents who live in that world — not a general bay guessing at coding, not a waiting room designed to upsell floor mats. Until we name a partner here, think of it as a South OC independent that already knows BMW and Euro work, not a made-up shop with fake hours.
Work we see most
- Scheduled maintenance — Inspection-style intervals, condition-based service lights, fluids that aren’t “any 5W-30”
- Check-engine and drivability — misfires, VANOS-ish complaints, sensor drama, the intermittent that only shows up after a warm idle
- Brakes and suspension — especially when pad sensors and electronic parking brakes are part of the story
- Cooling — water pumps, thermostats, expansion tanks; summer here is not gentle on German cooling loops
- Pre-purchase looks — before you buy the “clean” E90 or C-Class off a private seller in Laguna Hills
